The Frogs (0-0) will face the Miners (0-0) first on Saturday at 9 a.m., before taking on the host Wildcats (0-0) at 1 p.m., to end the weekend competition.
TCU is coming off a good showing at the opening tournament of the spring season, the TCU Invitational.
SofikoKadzhaya was named the Singles and Doubles Champion after going 3-0 in both for an overall mark of 6-0. Overall, TCU went 22-3 in the opening weekend with a 7-2 mark in doubles and 15-1 record in singles.
Seda Arantekin is the highest ranked player for TCU as she checks in at No. 75. Arantekin was previously ranked No. 114 in the preseason poll in September and went on to post seven singles wins during the fall season.
Marie Norris rounds out the singles rankings at No. 115 which is the first career ranking for the sophomore.
Norris went 7-3 in the fall and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Texas Regional Championships presented by Oracle.
On the doubles side, Donika Bashota and Olaya Garrido-Rivas picked up the lone doubles nationally ranking as the duo sit at No. 16 after posting three straight wins during the fall and winning the Rice Invitational.
Abilene Christian is coming off three days at the Indiana Winter Invitational where the team was able to grab 17 wins over the host Hoosiers, Colorado and Marquette.
The Wildcats were able to win 10 doubles matches including a 5-1 mark against the Golden Eagles. Whitney Williams went 4-2 in doubles and was the only Wildcat to win both her singles matches in the tournament.
With 10 wins so far this season, Raven Bennett leads UTEP with an overall singles mark of 10-5.
Vivienne Kulicke has picked up nine wins, while Milou Pietersz and Daphne Visscher each have seven wins.
In doubles, the pairing of Kulicke and Pietersz has been the most successful at 10-4 on the year, while Bennett and Visscher have formed a tandem for six wins.
All-Time Series Records
The first match of the day between TCU and UTEP will be the eighth meeting all-time and the first since 2001.
The teams first faced-off in 1986 with the Frogs coming away with a 9-0 win and in the last meeting, TCU picked up the narrow 4-3 win in Fort Worth. This will be the second match all-time taking place in a neutral setting.
TCU also owns a perfect record against Abilene Christian at 3-0 with all previous meetings taking place in the 1980s.
